DIY Clay Jewelry Holder

This is a tutorial of how I make a jewelry holder. I still use this for my rings and my necklaces and it works very well. I definetly reccomend this DIY when you are feeling bored.

Materials:

  • water
  • any bowl (to mold the clay with)
  • air dry clay
  • any type of sandpaper with a fine grit
  • petroleum jelly

Steps:

  1. Knead your clay so that it is easy and loose to work with
  2. Roll the clay into a ball and smoothen any cracks with water by rubbing your fingers against it
  3. Flatten the clay using a flat surface
  4. Place the clay onto the bowl and mold it so that the clay is evenly spread out
  5. knead an extra piece of clay
  6. Roll it into a log and connect the two ends, creating a circle
  7. Blend the circle into the bowl
  8. Remove the clay from the bowl
  9. Apply the petrolium jelly to the surface of the bowl and place the clay back onto it
  10. Let it air dry according to the package instructions
